This course is a comprehensive study of trauma in children and its impacts on child development. The course looks at the physiological and mental impacts of trauma on a child, and how it can alter depending on their age, circumstance, and type of trauma. The course also aims to provide skills and training for caregivers/guardians to help children with their trauma, and shows the caregivers/guardians how to parent a traumatised child.
