Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) is a complex Autism Spectrum Condition characterised by an anxiety-driven need to be in control. People with PDA need a different approach to the ones used with other Autism Spectrum conditions. This course will teach learners how PDA differs from other types of autism.
Most importantly, the course will teach effective strategies to ensure that those who work with people with PDA can support them to help them meet their potential and manage their behaviour.
