This course has been designed to look at the impact of COVID-19 on mental health in adults, young people, and children.
It will look at how the coronavirus has impacted on individuals both physically and emotionally and especially those with existing mental health issues. It will look at how the virus has driven mental health issues and examine the most important factors that impacted on individuals.
It will also allow participants to make judgements about successful coping strategies and how people have accessed services and the support they need.
The course objectives are as follows:
To understand COVID-19 and the impact it has on wellbeing
To be aware of how the coronavirus has affected our mental health
To know what is driving poor mental health during the pandemic
To be aware of how have people been coping
To know how people been able to access the support they need
This course meets the Training, Support, and Development Standards as outlined in The Fostering Services (England) Regulations 2011.
