It’s important to maintain ties between siblings in care. One way to do this is through sibling placements. This course will give you an insight into the importance of sibling placements and will look at what the benefits of having sibling placements are. It will also consider what the possible barriers might be to these placements, such as the identification of siblings being challenging, especially when children have lived in more than one family. The course will give you strategies you can implement that will benefit the siblings and the foster carer.
